Your frustration is the point of this whole site. Read the first paragraph of every blog post. Exactly! When WILL these people learn? The number of politicians over the past hundred years who obviously knew their history, and especially the history of the founding of this nation, is pathetically small. And most of those in the highest circles of power consistently appear to know the least. I share your frustration, friend.

You're absolutely right, don, but even Ron Paul has admitted that his chances at this point are pretty much nil. He's stated that he's carrying on the campaign now in order to continue to spread the ideas of sound money, non-intervention, and constitutional government. Technically, then, you're right. But practically speaking, there are three "viable" candidates right now. For better or for worse. I'd certainly argue the latter.
